We always start a capital city visit by a bike tour, to get an overview of the city. We fully appreciated our city tour of Athens with « Athens bike tour ». Our guide, Dimos Kontovounisios, was very helpfull and gave us a lot of good advises for the next days.

I think this was the best thing we did in Athens. Our guide was great fun, really friendly, full if info. It wasn't tricky either for non cyclists, everything was pretty flat. Got a nice intro to the lay out of Athens in a few hours.

We went to all these beautiful spots, mostly hidden gems dotted across Athens all at a leisurely pace. Dimitrius was super chill and informative and we had a blast! He recommended places to eat, shop and for amazing sunset views which we took on and enjoyed both on the day and today. If you're in Athens, don't go on any tour unless you go on this one first - it's extremely informative and gives you a good sense of direction of where you should visit in the city as well as what you shouldn't (if you're not interested in certain things)
