Get an introduction to scuba diving during a 3.5-hour beginner's lesson in Anavyssos. Get fitted for all the necessary gear at the local dive shop and listen to a 30-minute introductory lesson on diving theory on dry land. With your highly trained instructors, proceed to the sea for your first underwater experience. You will start at a minimum depth where you can stand out of the water. Once you're comfortable, head out to a maximum of 5 meters depth. Accompanied by your instructors, submerge using your newfound skills and look for aquatic life.

The Dive Centre you're looking for near Athens

I've been to a good few diving centres, but the service and ambience of this one is probably up in the top 3 for me. The staff is super friendly, professional, and accommodating. The dives they offer are interesting and fun. And their equipment and prices are both very good.
I've contacted them online for a mere 2 days before visiting Athens, in hopes that they'd have an option for me to dive a couple of times. While they didn't have a bus for transport, they arranged for me complete equipment and a diving buddy (given that we can fit our packs into the trunk of a rental car). I could just as well have dived the very next day, but instead we went for a double dive a day later.
My diving buddy, Sofoklis showed me around the shop, walked me through the plan he had in mind, selected equipment and gave me coffee while doing so. We went to a dive site roughly 20 minutes from the centre where he has not been before but was recommended by another instructor at the centre, Geo, and another site he named one of the best he knew in the area.
Both dives were fun, the company was great and I also got all of the GoPro footage (included in the simplest package even) by the very next day. They also provided ample protection for the car and were very professional with the equipment's transport in a private vehicle. We also had snacks and other refreshments in a cooler box included in the experience.
They even have a student discount, but both the rental and the dives were so affordable I didn't opt for it. I had an amazing time and would recommend them to anyone who wants to dive when visiting Athens and the peninsula.

Underwater adventure close to Athens

We had taken the bus and were greeted by Geo at the terminal. You could tell that Geo was very experienced and it was comforting to meet him. We recevied a thourough walk through of the gear and how to communicate underwater by Katerina after which we got ready to go dive. Me and my partner had dived before but my partner was still not comfortable with being underwater. Aspa and Katerina did a gret job making sure she was comfortable, safe and took it slow in a pace she felt safe with. We were able to see many creatures underwater such as sea urchins, fish and even a squid. I would reccommend this for anyone that is interested in scuba diving or just want an adventure for the day. Perfect for first time divers just as well for experienced certified divers.

This was my first dive and couldn’t ask for better. All staff members were friendly and the instructor was the best of bests. Explained everything in detail and stayed all the time along during the dive. Will definitely recommend and return whenever possible.
